Ways to Give
The Jane Addams Hull House Association needs you now more than ever to insure its survival into the future. There are many ways you can be a part of the Jane Addams Hull House Association legacy and make an impact on the Chicago community:
Make a Donation
Unrestricted cash donations are the lifeblood of Hull House. Each dollar you contribute ensures the success and growth of our innovative programs. Unrestricted contributions allow us to address concerns in the community by funding new solutions not provided by the government or other restricted funds. Generally, every dollar you give is tax deductible and has an immediate impact on the individuals and families we serve.
Donate an Appreciated Asset
You can take advantage of significant tax benefits by making a gift of appreciated stock, real estate or other assets. A donation of coin collections, stamp collections, or even wine collections, can help fund our work. Let us show you the creative ways you can utilize your assets to make a difference.
Create a Legacy
Planned and estate gifts provide a lasting legacy of your vision and compassion. In addition, planned gifts are, quite literally, the gifts that keep on giving. There are many ways to make a planned gift. We would be pleased and honored to work with you and your advisors to identify the planned giving vehicle that will maximize your legacy to both your heirs and Jane Addams Hull House Association.
Make a Corporate In-Kind Gift
Corporate in-kind gifts have the potential to alleviate budget concerns by freeing up previously allocated dollars. Your company's donation is tax deductible and enables all of us to continue to be neighbors helping neighbors.
Make an Endowment Gift
Restricted gifts to our Endowment ensure Jane Addams’ legacy will continue in the future. Earnings from endowment funds are used to support current programs and seed new initiatives. It helps the Association to not only survive, but to thrive. Your gift provides a way for Hull House to fund long-term services to the underserved.
