Homeless Services

Jane Addams Hull House Association's Homeless Services provide care and support for our clients trying to transition from a life on the street to self-sufficiency and independence. Hull House works with community business to help our clients break free and create a healthy and nurturing lifestyle for themselves.

Hull House provides a wide range of services such as:

  • Counseling
  • Food and housing referral services
  • Individualized case management
  • Weekly hot meals
  • Job training programs
  • Substance abuse services
  • Literacy tutoring and educational assistance.

 

Programs:

Emerge - Assists young adults in transitioning from homelessness to self-sufficiency by increasing their sense of self worth and developing their inner strengths and talents.

Help Ease Local Poverty (HELP) - Eases the plight of the homeless and disadvantaged by offering services to improve their well-being and increase self-esteem.
