Research

Jane Addams Hull House Association is committed to providing its clients with the highest quality of service.  To ensure there is a clear understanding of the needs of its client population, its communities and the impact that the services are having on each, the Association created the Department of Institutional Research and Quality Improvement.

The Department of Institutional Research and Quality Improvement is dedicated to the continuous improvement of our services to clients. This is accomplished through partnerships with local universities to systematically evaluate our programs and research new methods of effective service delivery.

Through our research agenda, the Department strives to meet the following three goals:  

  1. Provide high level research and data to support program enhancement and development.
  2. Periodically evaluate program processes and effectiveness in providing quality services to our clients.
  3. Inform social work knowledge and practice by disseminating our research findings to the larger social service arena.

Support Team
The Management Information Systems Department provides high-level technical support to the Department to ensure that data collected is in its purest and most valuable format, thereby providing the requisite information for improving the services provided to our clients.
