Jazz for Jane
Ravinia Concert

This year we are proud to present Ramsey Lewis Trio with the Turtle Island Quartet and Dave Brubeck Quartet with the Ravinia Jazz Festival Band on Saturday evening, June 21, 2008 at Ravinia Festival in Highland Park.

Last year’s Jazz for Jane event, which is Hull House’s official seasonal Board of Trustees event, was a record breaking year. The private tent was filled with an outstanding number of guests and tickets were sold out for the phenomenal performance by Grammy winning jazz trumpeter, Wynton Marsalis and his band.

170 guests attended Jazz for Jane, raising an impressive $71,450. The rare wine silent auction was a great success, and included a $1,000 bid on a single bottle of wine.

We sincerely thank all guests who attended last year. The success of Jazz for Jane was made possible through the tireless commitment from our Board.  A special thank you goes out to Timm Reynolds and Prue Beidler, the 2007 event Co-Chairs.
