| Description: | Serve as an on-site literacy specialist to early childhood program(s). Works with Early Reading First Program Director and Site Director to provide and coordinate staff development, technical assistance, collect and report data and support program evaluation as required by the Early Reading First (ERF) grant. Must be highly professional and a self-starter, knowledgeable in research based practices of early literacy, have excellent mentoring skills and have a strong basis in emergent literacy development and family literacy practices. Strong technology skills are required.

| Requirements: | Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Development/Early Childhood Education. Preference given to Master’s Level Candidates or 04 Certification and Bilingual Spanish/English candidates |
