Jane Addams Legacy Award Dinner Finance Industry

Jane Addams Hull House Association presented Joseph Gregoire and PNC Financial Services Group with the Jane Addams Legacy Award at the Palmer House Hilton on Tuesday, April 26, 2011. Over 100 industry leaders joined together in a special evening of recognition and celebration.

“In my eyes, Hull House had always stood for one thing – People. About improving lives not just through housing, but through improvements in healthcare, education and employment. Hull House has always remained dedicated to the Jane Addams vision – that social challenges can be addressed through innovative programs, compassion and dedication,” says Gregoire.

Joseph A. Gregoire is regional president of PNC Bank in Illinois. He joined PNC through its acquisition of National City Corporation in October 2008. Gregoire is active in a number of civic and business organizations and in 2008, was the recipient of The Anti-Defamation League’s Americanism award.

The Jane Addams Legacy Award is awarded to individuals who continue Jane Addams' legacy of creating innovative solutions to social problems that help people enrich and improve their lives. The Jane Addams Legacy Award recognizes individuals who have demonstrated outstanding leadership in achieving this same goal.
